One advantage of cemented walls is that smaller stones can be laid laminated against previously build block walls shown here in the three lower photographs. The stones are a maximum of 20cm deep. This technique requires just man power unlike the two examples above where an excavator was required to position the stones.

There is no prepared granite for walling in Sweden so we pre-select all the stones from different sources so the shaping is kept to a minimum as Swedish granite is one of the hardest on the planet.
